The Sunday Currently, Volume 7

Whoever said that time is a cruel mistress has never met my mom. (JK I love you, mom.)

This week has been a whirlwind of mad and merry happenings. Where do I even start?

Reading "The Last Mafioso: Jimmy 'The Weasel' Fratianno" by Ovid Demaris. More gangster novels for my kind of gangster heart.

Writing about our trip to Cat Cafe Manila yesterday. Vincent brought me there yesterday for our monthly date and I just fell in love with the entire place. (^・ω・^ ) My mom is planning on celebrating her birthday there after I showed her how much fun I had with all the cats there. (I guess I can call yesterday... a Caturday.)

Listening to Watching this video of instrument-playing cats.

Did you see the cats eating noodles and curry from their cymbals? And the cat wearing a duck on its head? And the one talking on the phone? And the one playing broom guitar? I still have a cat hangover from yesterday. (^・ω・^ )

Thinking of a lot of things, actually. My sister's apartment was robbed and one of our fluffy baby angels ran out of the gate went missing. I wasn't able to sleep a wink for two days ever since we first went to her place last Thursday. I'm still thinking of wherever Nessie could be, and hoping that whoever picked her up feeds her well, has a lot kids to play with... and overall just someone who'll take care of her.

There's also my World Youth Day 2016 application. Will I make it? (Am I even worthy?) All of that and remembering how fun yesterday was. (Why do unplanned dates go so much smoother than planned ones?)
Wishing that our fluffy baby angel is fine, wherever she may be.

Wearing this Uniqlo shirt my dad bought for my birthday.

Loving my blinged-up Chucks. I need to make more cutesy-artsy crafts because it makes me happy. (It looks messy in the picture, but it's really totes cute in person.)

Wanting more homemade snacks.

Needing a new pair of waterproof shoes. Good thing I'm going to the mall in a while with my dad and the derp little siblings.

Feeling kinda happy and kinda sad at the same time. I just find it kinda funny how I got this Nessie (after how many months of playing Crossy Road to fall asleep!) and lost another one. (Yes, my sister's dog's name is Nessie, which is what Jacob Black nicknamed Bella's daughter Renesmee. Yes, the one from Twilight.)

I'm still grieving over the fact that that silly little dog might not be able to make it home, but at the same time I'm ardently, ardently hoping that she'll find her way back. (Jeez, thanks to Lady and the Tramp for my high expectations of pretty house dogs being escorted back home by strays.)
What are you up to this beautiful Sunday, aside from sleeping in and daydreaming? Tell me about it!

The Sunday Currently is by

  1. WHAT IS CROSSY ROAD!!! haha I think I'll download it when I get home.

    1. Crossy Road is a pixel game, which I think is kind of annoying but also very entertaining. :D
